1. Scope

These Terms apply to the browser extensions, related websites, and paid service “Mono Pro” provided by Mono Tools. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The service

Mono Tools provides focused extensions that simplify specific browser tasks. Mono Transcript reads captions available on YouTube on the user’s device and helps users copy or export them as files.

3. Conditions of use

• You must comply with applicable laws and the terms of third-party services.
• You are responsible for confirming that you have the rights required to use any captions or content you retrieve or save.
• You may not use the service for unauthorized access, disruption, rights infringement, resale, or any other improper purpose.

4. Third-party services

The service may integrate with third-party services such as YouTube, Google Chrome, Stripe, and Supabase. Mono Tools is not affiliated with or endorsed by their operators and cannot guarantee against changes, suspensions, or restrictions affecting those services.

5. Mono Pro

Mono Pro is planned as an automatically renewing monthly or annual subscription. The subscription will renew until canceled, based on the price and term shown at checkout. Final prices, payment timing, cancellation terms, and refund terms will be shown at launch on the checkout page and in the Disclosure under Japan’s Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.

6. Changes and suspension

We may change or temporarily suspend the service when necessary for maintenance, security, changes to third-party services, or other operational reasons. If a change is likely to have a material effect on users, we will provide advance notice through a reasonable method.

7. Warranties and liability

We do not guarantee the availability, content, accuracy, or continued retrievability of captions. Except where liability cannot be limited by law, Mono Tools’ aggregate liability for damages arising from use of the service will be limited to the fees paid by the user during the preceding 12 months, unless the damage resulted from intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms, we will announce the changes and their effective date on this website or through another reasonable method.
